The Computerized Neuropsychological Assessment System
A number of drugs to prevent slow, or even halt Alzheimer's disease are being developed and

Due to this general medical providers (family therapists, neurologists, psychiatrists, etc.) often express a need for special guidelines on how to diagnose the cognitive impairment in its earliest stages. A group of recent publications addresses various possibilities, particularly in the area of neuropsychological testing (Jefery B. Allen. (2002). These publications show that several neurocognitive tests may allow clinicians to distinguish people with preclinical AD and start proper treatment.
